The Digital Classroom

The Digital Classroom
The Digital Classroom is a 2-day, hands-on workshop that guides educators through the process of developing digital media classroom projects.  The ideal participant will be proficient with Apple computers, their Operating System, and digital devices. Instructors will guide the class through the process of creating and managing a lesson plan, from the assignment phase, through storyboarding, production and to final editing and sharing.  Educators will use a variety of resources to incorporate common core standards into current lesson plans.  The project based learning environment will equip teachers with the tools to incorporate the iLife Suite into their learning environment, thus enhancing their students’ classroom experience. Participants will share insights and feedback for student learning and improvements.  Teachers will be encouraged to share in moderator-led discussions on translating the various projects for their own classrooms and subjects.
