DGL: Digital Learning 101 – Basic Computer Operations in Classrooms (Half Day Session) DGL 101, is a 3-hour, hands-on course designed to introduce teachers to basic Apple computer systems, Dataseam concepts, and technology’s important role in the 21st Century Classroom. The workshop-style course familiarizes teachers with the iMac Hardware, primary functions, and the Operating System. Instruction also includes an introduction to web browsers, general applications, and a basic preface to the iLife Suite. Educators will acquire the necessary tools to explore technology and its potential to enhance, improve, and expand the classroom experience for their students, parents, and staff.

iLife’11: An Introduction to the iLife Suite
3 Day workshop) iLife’11 is a 3-day, hands-on instructional class and workshop designed to introduce the iLife Suite of tools to educators already proficient with Apple computers and its Operating System. Teachers will learn the fundamentals of iPhoto, GarageBand, iMovie, iDVD, and iWeb. This class provides direct experience with the iLife’11 learning
environment, and equips educators with instructional integration strategies. Participants will create Podcasts, slideshows, and a classroom website. Teachers will obtain the necessary tools to incorporate the iLife’11 Suite of tools into their daily classroom teaching and learning. * Pre-requisite, DGL101.
