Dataseam and Participating Partner School Districts built and manage one of the most powerful high performance computing environments in the world to benefit education, research and economic development in Kentucky.
High Performance Computing.  The DataseamGrid leverages computers operating in school districts across the state. This innovative and highly efficient computing resource supports daily student needs and supplies research teams with more processing power than super computers at the state’s two largest research universities combined.

Unique and Critical Resource. The DataseamGrid is tied to over $40 million in federally funded research grants has helped create one of the country’s largest cancer drug development pipelines in the world at the University of Louisville James Graham Brown Cancer Center.

Opportunities for Students. The program has brought millions of dollars in student college scholarships, project-based teacher professional development programs and workshops; technology support for state-wide education programs; and resources for STEM focused Aerospace and Biotech education and workforce develop in the state.

Participating Partner School Districts have received millions in computers, training, educational programs and technical support.
